After spending his life as a stray, this brave boy is working hard to adjust to indoor life—and he’s already showing just how special he is. Klaus adores gentle pets, mealtime (food is his love language!), and cozy naps in soft, safe spots. When the world feels a little too big, he takes himself to his safe space under his bed for comfort—but give him time, and he’ll peek out again with those warm eyes, ready for affection.
He’d thrive in a quieter home with patient humans who can show him kindness and consistency as he continues to bloom. Klaus does well with other cats and even gentle dogs, and he could be happy as a solo cat or part of a peaceful multi-pet family. Because he can be shy at first, he’d do best with older, gentle children who understand that he needs space when he’s feeling uncertain.

Klaus grew up playing with real mice, thank you very much, and is still learning what all the fuss is about toy mice and feather toys. What he lacks in toy skills, he makes up for in sweetness. Every day, he’s becoming a little more confident, a little more relaxed, and a lot more loving.
