Gideon is a gentle soul who adores being near his people. He’ll happily nap while you relax, but the moment you get up, he’s right behind you, trotting along with his sweet old-man enthusiasm. His hearing and vision may not be what they once were, but his love for life is still going strong.
True to his hound roots, Gideon lives for sniffing adventures. Whether it’s exploring the yard or taking slow, thoughtful walks where he can investigate every scent, he enjoys it all. Toys aren’t really his thing, but scratches, soft pets, and cozy companionship absolutely are.
Gideon does well with dogs his size or larger, and he’d love a calm, easy-going canine buddy—just no small dogs, please. He’s an easy keeper who fits beautifully into a quiet, loving home where he can enjoy comfort, routine, and plenty of affection.
