MY RESCUE STORY
Hi there! I’m Jjokko. I was rescued from an animal hoarding situation — one of sixteen dogs saved in July 2025. Life has completely changed since then, and now I’m ready to find my forever family who will love and cherish me the way I’ve always deserved.
MY HEALTH
• Fully vaccinated (5-round series complete)
• I’ve been neutered and have no known health issues.
MY PERSONALITY
I’m a super-friendly girl who absolutely adores people! I can never get enough attention and love bonding with everyone I meet. I get so excited to greet new friends — and whether you have treats or not, I’ll happily follow you around just to be close. One of my favorite things is snuggling up beside you and relaxing — nothing makes me happier than being near my humans.
MY SOCIAL SKILLS
With People: I’m great with everyone, even kids! Don’t let my size fool you — I’m a gentle sweetheart who loves belly rubs and being picked up by people I trust.
With Dogs: I’m friendly with dogs too! I enjoy meeting new friends but prefer to observe before jumping into play. I usually get along best with dogs my size or smaller. I can be a bit sensitive around food when other dogs are nearby, so it’s best to feed me separately for now. With gentle guidance, I’ll continue learning to relax during mealtime.
With Cats: My experience with cats is limited, so I’m not sure how I’d react. On walks, I tend to watch them curiously and might try to chase, so I’d do best in a home without cats.
ENERGY & ACTIVITIES
I have a moderate energy level. I enjoy spending time outdoors, but after a nice walk and some sunshine, I’m just as happy to curl up and rest indoors.
TRAINING & HABITS
• I walk nicely on leash and usually follow my handler’s lead. I have great recall skills, so once I bond with you, I’ll do wonderfully off leash. I’m very attentive and love staying close to my handler during walks.
• No resource guarding with people.
• I know how to rest calmly in my kennel.
• I prefer outdoor potty.
• Good with car rides! I know how to get on and off on my own.
• I bark at times for attention.
• Super sweet with people & get excited when meeting new people. With a little guidance and consistency, I’ll learn to stay calm during greetings.
MY IDEAL HOME
I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me grow and become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with:
• A family that offers a fun, structured, and safe environment.
• A family that enjoys indoor & outdoor activities and spending quality time together.
• A family that understands my love for food and can be sensitive with it when other dogs are nearby. I will need continued guidance and management so I learn to be more patient with other dogs.
