Meet Mella – A Sweet Tabby Looking for Her Forever Home!
Mella is a darling little brown tabby with soft meows and a big heart. She was found wandering a neighborhood with no collar or microchip, and despite efforts to find her family, no one came forward. A kind woman gave her shelter, but unfortunately, her resident cat wasn't a fan of new friends.
That’s when a rescue stepped in and told Mella, “This is your lucky day – you’re one step closer to finding a loving forever home!”
If you're looking for a sweet companion with a gentle personality, Mella may be the perfect match. She’s ready to fill your home with purrs, play, and love.
One of our cat cuddlers comments, 'Mella is a striking tabby with beautiful stripes and her expression will catch your attention for sure. Mella looks gentle and sweet, and slightly cross eyed. So endearing.'
This cuddly girl was happy to see us when we stopped by. Check out Mella’s video, getting pets along with roommate Lima (FCID#06/03/2025-10, adopted 7/26/25). https://www.youtube.com/shorts/ftpyZr83nTM .
Could Mella bring her quiet and loving personality to your home? You can visit with her in our Brookhaven PetSmart adoption center. Please ask about her! Mella likes to hang out with her new adoption center friends female friends Thistle and Onyx.
Please submit our no-obligation Adoption Application for a meet and greet or to adopt: https://forgottencats.org/adoption-application/. Not ready to adopt? Please consider fostering: https://forgottencats.org/foster-a-cat/. Thank you! (Foster: Trainer)
