More about this shelter
The Humane Society of Bay County, a registered 501(c)(3), was founded in November 1984 by a compassionate group of citizens who recognized our community's need for animal advocacy. Since then, we have worked to protect and improve Bay County's animals' lives. We are solely donor-funded and a separate entity from Bay County Animal Services and Adoption Center.
Our Mission
The Humane Society of Bay County saves and protects animals' lives. We educate, advocate, and encourage social change while strengthening the human-animal bond.
Compassion in Action
At HSBC, we remain strong advocates for shelter adoptions. Your generous support allows us to fund vital programs, including: Sterilization & Vaccination for Adoptable Animals, Trap, Neuter, Return (TNR) for Community Cats, Advocacy Against Animal Cruelty, Neglect, and Abuse, Community Awareness & Education to Inspire Change
