My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Jekyll and I'm a recent college graduate! Ok, so it’s not college exactly, but let’s not diminish my accomplishments. I just finished an 8 week training program and I feel like a brand new man.  I mean, I'm practically a champion walker! I walked all crazy ziggy-zaggy at first but now walks with me are a breeze. I never have potty accidents, and I also know how to sit, lay down, wait, leave it, and go to my “place.” Waiting is really hard because everything is so exciting, but I'll do it because I want to make you happy. I love running around outside and playing fetch with one of my many tennis balls. I love other dogs, and cats too, but I don't think they like me as much as I like them. I'm just so excited to see them! And I want to play! Playing is my favorite. I would LOVE if my new forever home had another canine friend to match my energy that I could play with. It would be neat if they liked to do fun stuff outside a lot, too. My foster family found me near their house where I was trying to play with cars(they do not play nicely) so I'm happy that I'm safe and sound now. What do you say, can we be best friends?

My adoption fee is $350 locally in Houston, TX or I can be transported out of state for $550 (with health certificate and travel fee). I am up to date on my vaccines, spay/neuter and microchip. Fill out an app at: https://toolkit.rescuegroups.org/of/f?c=SQYPSGVQ

Additional adoption info

With an approved application, applicants are considered for the pet they have applied for. Our goal is to make the best match for both the adopting family and the pet. Applications are NOT considered on a first come first served basis. Following an initial meet and great, potential adopters must pass a home inspection and sleepovers are strongly encouraged to ensure a perfect fit. Upon approval, the adoptive family is required to pay a fee and sign an adoption agreement. Fees are $200 for a puppy under a year and $150 for adults and include spay/neuter, current vaccines, microchip and many wonderful years of companionship.
