Est. DOB: 10/17/2018
Current Weight: 20lbs
Adoption fee: $259
Patrick is a happy-go-lucky boy with a heart full of curiosity and charm. Found as a stray, he’s embraced his fresh start and is loving every minute of it. Patrick enjoys exploring his surroundings, discovering new sights and smells, and soaking up attention from his people.
He isn’t much of a barker—at least not since arriving at the rescue—and he already knows the sit command, giving him a great foundation for continued training. Patrick would thrive in a quieter, adult-only home where routines are predictable and his boundaries are respected.
Like many dogs who’ve had an uncertain past, Patrick can become overwhelmed in stressful situations and has shown that he may bite when he feels pressured or unsafe. For this reason, he’s looking for a calm, experienced adopter who understands canine body language and can help him continue building confidence at his own pace.
With patience, consistency, and a peaceful environment, Patrick has the potential to be a loving, loyal companion who enjoys both gentle adventures and relaxed quality time at home.
(Adoption fee includes spay/neuter surgery, age-appropriate current vaccines, microchip, and preventative flea treatment.)
Note: Breed descriptions are provided as a general estimate based on the dog's size, shape, and appearance. These descriptions are not definitive and should be considered a "guestimate." Since we cannot always know the exact breed mix of our rescue animals, the information provided is simply an educated guess. This dog currently lives at the rescue, not in a foster home. We can only share information about their behavior and personality as observed in the rescue environment. For other questions on our dogs/cats please send an email to info@sunnyskysshelter.org
