My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Duke. I agreed to watch him temporarily for his owner while they moved, but they abandoned him and never returned. He has now been in my care for one month, and it’s clear he needs a stable, caring home.

I want the best for Duke, but I’m not in a position to keep him long-term — he’s not on my lease, and I’m away from home for extended periods. Duke deserves a family who can give him the care, attention, and support he needs.

I don’t know much about Duke’s medical history or whether he gets along with children. What I do know is that he gets along with a small dog he’s been around.

If you or someone you know can provide a permanent, caring home for Duke, please reach out. I’m happy to share more about his personality, needs, and daily routine.
