Puck is an 8-year-old, 10-lb Domestic Short Hair with movie-star looks and a very clear sense of personal space. This handsome gentleman is affectionate, but strictly on his terms. He enjoys attention, head rubs, and companionship—just don't scoop him up and expect him to be thrilled about it. Puck prefers all four paws on solid ground and will let you know when he's ready for love. He's a bit reserved at first and needs time to feel comfortable, but once he settles in, he's a loyal, charming companion who appreciates calm energy and respectful humans. Because of his need for a quiet, predictable environment, Puck would do best in an adult-only or teen (13+) home and must be the only pet. Puck is neutered, microchipped, current on rabies and FVRCP vaccines, and FIV/FeLV negative. His adoption fee is $50. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense.
