Why I need a new home

Does not get along with other pet

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

EDIT: Just entered her heat cycle, we are going to wait it out and then attempt to reintroduce and then train them.

This is Lucy! She is a very sweet-tempered Alaskan Malamute puppy (birthday 3/22/2025), who has been very receptive to command training! She came from a pet local shop, and for the first month, she did excellent with our other dog. They bounced together and played and were very happy. As she has gotten older, she has started showing dominance issues, and our other dog did not take well to this. She has shown nothing but kindness for people, and very clearly desires to be a good girl.
She has lived with a cat and has respected her boundaries so far, but they have not interacted as much as I would confidently say she will do well with another cat.
For these reasons, I believe she needs a solo dog household with someone who can give her the concerted effort to socialize her, as well as give her plenty of walks which she loves, especially if there are leaves she can chase.
