My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Squeakers is a 2-year old Long Haired Chihuahua mix who tips the scales at about 7 pounds. She was absolutely born to be a pampered princess. This tiny sweetheart will follow you everywhere—but if she had her way, she’d be carried like the royalty she knows she is! She’s happy to help with that, too—when you reach down to pick her up, she’ll jump right into your hands, ready to be held close.

At night, she doesn’t just join you in bed—she expects to be tucked in snugly under the blanket before drifting off to dreamland. She’s still figuring out how she feels about playtime with other dogs, but she’s perfectly content to curl up next to them when it’s time to rest.

Squeakers makes the funniest little gremlin noises, especially when she’s excited or talking to you in her own special way. She adores everyone she meets—after all, every new person is just another chance for more love and attention!

Because she’s quite the talker when left behind, Squeakers would do best in a home without shared walls. While she’s not the biggest fan of her crate, she’s such a good girl that she can be trusted to roam freely when you’re away.

With her big personality, endless affection, and adorable quirks, Squeakers has so much love to give—and she can’t wait to find a family who will cherish her like the little princess she is.

Her minimum adoption fee is $300 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents.

She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
