Mia is a 6-year-old mini poodle who came from a puppy mill where she was tossed aside when she was no longer making the mill any money. We are thrilled she made it out of that life and into rescue. Mia is excited to start a new journey and is looking for a patient person who will give her time to shine. Mia has made so much progress since coming into rescue. She is an excellent snuggle buddy, does well going on walks, is a great car rider, and is making good progress with her potty skills. Mia will do best in a calm household with adults only. At this time, she does seem a little more comfortable with females. Mia can be vocal at times, so apartment life is not be a good fit for her. A home with a secure fenced yard is preferred so she can safely explore. While another pup in the home is not necessary, Mia would be fine with another canine to help her learn to dog. She really is quite sweet and will make a wonderful little companion. Mia is spayed, up to date on all vaccines, heart worm negative, on heartworm preventative, had a dental, de-wormed, and microchipped. Mia’s adoption fee is $350.00. Please go to our website aaprescue.org to learn about our adoption process.
