Bane is a handsome Cairn Terrier / West Highland Terrier mix who came to us from Unity K9 in Bakersfield. He has a moderate energy level and does well with both dogs and people, making him a lovely companion for many types of homes.
Bane would thrive in a home that gives him a little time to settle in and build confidence at his own pace. Once he’s comfortable, his sweet personality shines—he truly loves companionship and gentle interaction. His favorite place? Curled up close to his person. Bane would be perfectly happy becoming someone’s devoted lap dog and cuddle buddy.

Wags and Whiskers Pet Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit all-breed, animal rescue organization incorporated in August 2015. We are a primarily volunteer-driven group with years of experience with animals and rescue. Our mission is to rescue, foster, rehabilitate, and rehome abandoned, abused, and unwanted animals.
We rescue animals at risk of euthanasia in shelters, as well as those surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances, and those in danger of abuse or neglect. We are committed to helping the most needy, as well as the readily adoptable.
