If you’re looking for a fun-loving, high-energy companion who’s always up for action, Huxley might just be your perfect match! This handsome boy has a wiggly bum, a big smile, and a zest for life that’s absolutely contagious.
Huxley loves to run, chase, and play—especially if toys are involved! Whether it’s a game of fetch, a long hike, or just zooming around the yard, he’s happiest when he’s moving. He’s strong and athletic, so he’ll do best with someone who enjoys being active and can match his enthusiasm.
Huxley does have a bit of a prey drive, so he’d prefer a home without small animals, and he can be reactive around other male dogs—he’s still learning his manners there! But with structure, patience, and positive training, he’s eager to learn and please his people.
After all the excitement, Huxley loves to relax with his humans, soaking up affection and giving plenty of tail wags in return.
If you’re ready for a loyal, goofy, and spirited adventure partner, Huxley can’t wait to meet you!

*Please note that walk-in appointments are welcomed and encouraged, and will be prioritized over online applications.
Come into the Centre and if you see a pet you like, you are able to do a "Meet and Greet" with that pet. Spend some time in alone with the pet or take a dog out for a short walk. If you are still interested in adopting the pet you can meet with one of our Adoption Counsellors who will have you fill out and application and will ask you some questions about the environment in which you live. If you seem like a wonderful match and your environment meets the needs of the pet then your application should be approved!
