Quirky - Snuggly - Curious

Louie is a unique and curious little guy. He likes to explore new places and sit at the window to look outside. According to his foster family, he loves to cuddle or even just lie at your feet most times. He settles into new spaces reasonably quickly and loves attention. He’s very good at communicating his needs and his dislikes with meows and gentle nips if he needs to set boundaries.

He does need a few dark places to rest and some blankets since he gets cold easily. Despite getting cold easily he loves drinking really cold water straight from the tap. He can be very playful or very laid back depending on the time of day. He gets very attached to his people and would do best in a home with someone home throughout the day.

Louie will do best in a home where he is the only pet and there are no young or boisterous children. Louie is in a foster home, so if you are interested in learning more about him, please fill out an adoption application and mention his name.

Our adoptions coordinator will verify your application information, and someone from our team will meet with you at the lounge to introduce you to your potential forever friend. We adopt out based on the best match for pets, not on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Rescue and Relax is a Pittsburgh nonprofit animal rescue. We operate with a dedicated group of volunteers and foster homes, caring for homeless animals from across Western Pennsylvania until they can be placed in loving forever homes. Our cat lounge is home to between 15 and 20 adoptable cats at a time.
