My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet our sweet little Honey! Honey is a little EXTREMELY sweet and smart female that is here waiting for her veterinarian appointment to get fixed. She is a great little girl, that is playful and knows some tricks. She is a runner and will not be good with small children in the household. She will run out the door if given the chance. She will require someone that is somewhat active that can take her for walks, keep up with her husky genes. She is a medium sized girl. Although she is not ready to find her forever home yet, I am opening applications to have her family found when the time comes.

More about this shelter

The Forest County Humane Society is a non-profit, no-kill shelter in the great north woods located in Crandon, Wisconsin. We rescue, rehabilitate and adopt out all breeds of dogs and cats. Every animal is given a thorough examination by a veterinarian before placing them in a loving home and all animals are tested for Lyme disease, heartworm, feline leukemia and other infectious or debilitating diseases. They are vaccinated, de-wormed and spayed or neutered. All animals are lovingly cared for until being placed in their “fur-ever” family. Our website is www.forestcountyhumanesociety.org.
