My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please contact shereesdogrescue@gmail.com for more information about this pet.

My name is Bella and I am a miniature Schnauzer. I was released by a breeder.  I am very sweet. I am good with other dogs. My foster mom does not know about me and young kids.  I am Miss Congeniality! I am friendly and outgoing. I enjoy playing with other dogs, being around gentle people and being petted. I am a busy girl and I do love to play with another dog.

I was born on 02/25/2017. I am current on shots, spayed, heartworm negative, microchipped and I had a dental cleaning.

I am fostered in Texas. My adoption fee is $400. If I am adopted in the North East states, the transport fee is $205 and health certificate is $110, added to the adoption fee.

Additional adoption info

All potential adopters must complete an application form that will be reviewed. Adoption Fees help us pay vet bills, food, vaccines, surgeries, etc.

A contract will be signed at time of adoption. The new owner will receive all vet records, tags and any items (dog bed, toys, etc.) that belong to the pet previously.

We do not want our dogs to go back to shelters or be abandoned again once they have been adopted. We take our dogs back at any given time during the life of a dog, no questions asked, if things don't work out or for any other reason. Call us, we will take them back and will rehome them.

IMPORTANT: WE DO ENFORCE OUR ADOPTION CONTRACT.

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

Dogs are fostered in our homes. We set a time and place with the potential adopter to meet the dogs. In order to make an appointment to meet a dog, we need to have received your completed application and you need to have been approved to adopt. That is the first step before meeting/adopting a dog.

More about this rescue

We are a non-specific small dog breed rescue. We have several foster homes who give the dogs time, love and care. Our dogs are not boarded or kenneled. They are all fostered in private homes and they learn to live a life with a family.

All our rescue dogs will have a dental cleaning as needed. Younger dogs will have complete dental cleaning depending on the condition of their teeth. Our dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworms and treated if positive, updated on all shots. We also seek the help of a specialist for eye problems, skin issues, surgeries. All our dogs are microchipped.

They are fed the highest quality food we can buy them. Most of them are crate trained and we work on potty training as soon as they get in our homes. Please take note that we do NOT guarantee that a dog will not have accidents in his new home. The new owner will have to work with the dog to help him re-adapt to a new schedule and home.
