Their adoption process
We do require all potential adopters to pass a vet reference. The applicant must have all current pets spayed or neutered, consistent vaccinations and yearly exams, as well as yearly heart worm prevention

- A thorough application of questions is completed by all potential adopters.
- Interview
- We have a standard telephone interview that is conducted after an applicant passes our vet reference.
- Home Check
- Homes are checked by an approved volunteer for safety, cleanliness, and ability to care for the new pet.

Peace Love and Poms Rescue is not a shelter environment. All our dogs are placed in loving foster homes where they are treated like family until a forever home is found. This means all approved applicants will need to make an appointment with the foster pawrents to meet their potential new pet.
