Dove might start off a little shy, but give her just a moment and she’ll show you her true colors — playful, affectionate, and absolutely full of zest for life! She’s a young pup of about 11months and 50lbs with a heart as big as her zoomies, always ready to turn an ordinary day into an adventure.
This girl loves to run, play, and explore every corner of her world. She’d be thrilled to join an active, outdoorsy family — one that hikes, swims, gardens, or just loves being outside. Dove doesn’t want to sit on the sidelines; she wants to be in on every bit of the fun!
When playtime winds down, she’s happy to settle in and keep you company, curling up close as your loyal little shadow. She’s great with kids, adores other dogs, and even gets along with cats and chickens! About 90% housebroken and super smart, Dove learns fast and aims to please — running up with excitement, then sitting politely for love (okay, with the occasional reminder when she’s really happy!!).

- Hanging out on the pool ledge like it’s her personal cabana 💦
- Helping in the garden and managing “perimeter patrol” duties 🌿
- Tough toys, bones, and zoomies (a girl’s gotta train for playtime!) 🦴

Hay Dude Equine Rescue, in Boerne, TX, does not have a shelter - ALL of our dogs, are raised in foster homes in the San Antonio area. Each pup comes spayed or neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations that are appropriate for their age, microchipped, heartworm tested and on current on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.
