Whiskey is a sweet, seven year old energetic Lab mix who came to me after a family member passed away. She is crate trained, house trained, and does well with routine and clear expectations. She has lived with other dogs before and currently gets along with our calm male dog, so she could do well with another steady, low-conflict dog. She cannot live with cats—she fixates on them and does not give them space, which is stressful for everyone.
Whiskey is friendly with people and older kids, but she is best suited for a home without young children since she doesn’t always like sudden grabbing or rough handling. She bonds closely with her person and thrives in a calm home with structure, daily walks, and predictable routines. She has a sensitive personality and will do best with someone who has experience and can offer gentle boundaries. I will provide her crate, leash, food, and vet information to help her settle into her new home.
