My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Apply to Adopt Me!

This cute girl is Peaches! She is 2 years old and 55lb. Peaches has the sweetest eyes to match her sweet personality! She loves to cuddle and be near her people. She will crawl right into your lap at night for some pets while you watch TV or read a book. Peaches is crate trained and house trained. She enjoys snoozing on the couch and is very calm inside the home. Peaches is wonderful with other dogs. She tends to be submissive and will match her play style to whoever she is playing with. She really enjoys zooming around the yard with her foster siblings, as well as curling up with them on the couch or dog bed. We believe she will do best and be happiest with another fur companion playmate in the home. Peaches is respectful of cats, too. She’s all about peace and love. Peaches is a joy to walk around the neighborhood and to take on hikes. She doesn’t pull on her leash and is always happy to accompany you. She’s great in the car as well. We have not observed her around children, but feel confident that she would be good with older children. She is so affectionate that sometimes she will stand on her back legs and gently put her front paws on you to get pets. She likes to play with toys outside (she’s starting to fetch!) but she’s very relaxed inside. We are requiring a secure fenced-in yard for her.  Peaches is heartworm positive at this time, and is on the slow kill protocol, which we can explain that process to any interested applicant. She can enjoy regular activities. Heart worm disease is contracted from an infected mosquito and can not be transmitted to another dog. If you live in the Central Florida/Orlando area and believe you have the perfect home for Peaches, complete an app and tell us more about your family.

More about this rescue

We are a small 501(c)3 dog rescue. We take owner surrenders and we pull from local shelters. We, like so many others, are just trying to make a difference.
