This bundle of exuberance and puppy energy is Biscuit. He is listed as a retriever/lab mix. He weighs 47 pounds and is 8 months old. On 11/6 he came into the Mesquite animal shelter because he was abandoned by his owners. Biscuit is full of vim and vigor, with your typical puppy level of energy and enthusiasm. You might say he is an “on the go” kind of guy. He walks OK on a leash. As soon as he got out to the yard, he did his business. He was so excited to run and play in the yard. He chased balls, but did not know to return them. This playful and friendly boy is not one bit timid, shy, or fearful. He does jump on you. Manners training would certainly be a good idea. He is hoping for a family who will be patient with him and give him plenty of exercise, playtime, and enrichment. He wasn’t interested in toys and my guess is that he hasn’t been given any to play with. Biscuit is so much hoping that he will have better luck with his next home in that his people will stay committed to him and will make him an integral part of their family.
