We stepped in and brought him to CARES, where our team quickly realized he needed specialized dermatology care.
At MASH, Dr. Ganz performed a full exam and biopsies, fearing possible autoimmune disease or skin lymphoma. Thankfully, the results came back negative for cancer and autoimmune disease — just chronic inflammation! With Atopica and medicated baths, Duncan’s skin is healing beautifully. It may never be perfect, but he’s feeling so much better and thriving every day!

He listens well, aims to please, and adores being around people. Duncan shines as a family dog — gentle and patient with kids, loyal to his people, and always ready for fun.
