My name is Chandler!

Hello everyone! My name is Chandler, and I’m back at the animal shelter—hoping this time is just a short stay.

I’ve been in a wonderful foster home, but my foster mom is heading out of town for the holidays, so I returned to the shelter to see if I can find my forever home while she’s away (about 7–10 days).

I’m almost 7 months old and came into care on November 6, 2025, after a tough start. I was found tied to a fence at an apartment complex and left in the hot sun. Thankfully, management noticed and called Animal Control, who brought me to safety.

Despite that beginning, I’ve turned out to be a very good boy. I’m 100% housebroken, have excellent manners, and take treats ever so gently from human hands. I’ve been living with another dog in foster care and do great with companionship—some even say I might be one of the most well-behaved pups you’ll meet before the New Year!

I’m scheduled to be neutered tomorrow, my vaccinations are up to date, and I’m heartworm negative.

Let’s make 2026 the Year of the Dog—and maybe the year I finally find my forever family. ??
