My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Looks like: Shih Tzu
Male, 10 years old (estimated), 12 pounds

In spite of his wintry name, Blizzard's heart is as warm as can be. This gentle fellow moves at an easy pace, enjoying the simple pleasures in life -- soft beds, kind hands, and quiet companionship.

He's wonderfully sweet and loving with everyone he meets, and he gets along beautifully with other mellow dogs. Blizzard isn't in a hurry these days; he's content to take things slow, soak up affection, and enjoy every moment of his well-earned retirement. He's looking for a peaceful, loving home where he can spend his golden years surrounded by comfort, care, and plenty of love. Blizzard would thrive in a calm environment with gentle older children or in an adult only home.

Blizzard joined us from Contra Costa Animal Services. Due to their constraints for space and Blizzard's senior status, they felt he would do best in a senior-focused rescue to find his forever family.
