🐾 Meet Oatmeal! 🐾
Oatmeal is a kitten with a whole lot of personality and even more love to give! She’s playful, energetic, and always ready for fun. This little girl believes life is better with friends — she gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes and would really thrive in a home with another playful pet or a human who’s ready for lots of interaction.
When she’s not zooming around or chasing toys, Oatmeal turns into the sweetest cuddler. She loves to snuggle up and purr her heart out 💛
She also has one absolutely hilarious quirk: Oatmeal is very interested in whatever drink you have. If you’ve got a soda? She must investigate. She will look directly into your cup like she’s solving a mystery… and then gently boop the surface with her paw. It’s adorable, charming, and yes — a little bit mischievous 😄
Oatmeal is looking for a loving home where she’ll have companionship, playtime, and cuddles. If you want a kitten who will keep you laughing, keep you warm, and keep you on your toes… Oatmeal might just be your perfect match.

Their adoption process

1.
Submit Application

The first step in adoption from Texas Rustlers is to fill out an application online: https://www.theguineapigrescue.com/adoption-application

2.
Approve Application

Our volunteer staff will process your application as soon as they are able and get in touch with you via email about your application.

3.
Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

Once you're approved, we'll schedule an appointment on a Saturday between 9AM-5PM. You can meet and select your furry friend then!

4.
Sign Adoption Contract

A contract will be signed during your adoption appointment.

5.
Pay Fee

Our store cashier will process your adoption fee and help you select all supplies you may need. We accept cash, check or credit/debit card.

6.
Take the Pet Home

Bring a pet carrier or at least a towel lined laundry basket with you to transport your new friend home!

Additional adoption info

Guinea Pigs: Piggies are adopted in pairs, unless you are needing a single piggy for a piggy you already have.

Bunnies: Adopted as pairs or singles.

Both: Currently bonded pairs will NOT be split up.

We do require an approved application be on file prior to scheduling a visit
