My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sugarbee has had a rough start to her young life. She was born outside in March 2025, and into a large colony of cats. This situation became uncontrollable, and Sugarbee became sick. DHS took this loving girl in and nursed her back to a happy, healthy cat.

Sugarbee has a beautiful, buff colored, medium length coat. She enjoys being petted, but isn't sure yet about being picked up. Sugarbee is enjoying her life having a cozy bed, lots of toys to bat around and windows to look out while watching the world go by, but she is missing having a family of her own!

While she lived with many others, we have not tested Sugarbee here at the shelter to see how she lives in close quarters with other kitties, but we do believe she would do well.

Come meet this extra special girl today!
