Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Canyon is a loving, high-energy pup with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He can be a little funny around other animals — there are some he clicks with right away, and others he prefers to admire from a distance. He enjoys playing with other dogs, though his play style can be on the rough-and-tumble side. Canyon warms up beautifully to people once he gets to know them, though he can be a bit timid at first. Once he feels comfortable, he’s incredibly affectionate and loves to cuddle — he’s a total snuggle bug who even smiles and shows his teeth when he’s happy!
He’s fully house trained and does great with his potty habits, but the crate isn’t really his thing — he’ll bark and try to break out, so he does best with freedom and structure outside of it. Canyon is also quite the athlete: he can jump high, loves to go on walks and runs, and may do a little “counter surfing” if tasty food is left out!
He’s currently working on his excitement jumping when greeting people — he just loves giving kisses and can get a little too enthusiastic. When left alone, he may bark for a few minutes but soon settles down for a nap.
Canyon would thrive in an active home with a big yard where he can run, play, and burn off energy. He adores children and is both playful and protective with them. He doesn’t like to share his food or water bowls, but he knows basic commands like “sit” and “lay down” (even if he can be a bit stubborn sometimes).
