My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sunny — A Little Ray of Sunshine

Meet Sunny, a petite brown tabby with a heart as warm and bright as her name. She’s a sweet, affectionate, and confident kitten who absolutely adores people — the kind of cat who fills a home with warmth, purrs, and laughter.

Sunny loves to be wherever you are — playing, following you from room to room, or curling up in your lap when it’s time to relax. She’s also a bit of a “helper,” often underfoot and happily in the middle of everything. She’s talkative, but not too loud — just enough to let you know she’s part of the conversation.

Surrendered from a family in Fremont who said they had “too many cats,” Sunny was separated from her brother but hasn’t let that dim her cheerful spirit. She’s a resilient sweetheart who’s ready to share her love and light with a forever family of her own.

Available for adoption in the San Francisco Bay Area.

  • Indoor only

More about this rescue

Every day adult and senior cats with treatable medical and behavioral conditions are euthanized. GIVE ME SHELTER's goal is to rescue these cats from certain death and place them into loving permanent homes.
GMS is a registered 501(c)3 organization and is dedicated to helping stop the overpopulation of unwanted and abandoned cats. We are a small group of dedicated volunteers who are committed to bettering the life of adult cats who no longer have a home to call their own. Every time you adopt from us, you allow us to save another cat that would have otherwise died. We receive new cats into our system almost every week. Our website is constantly being updated, so please check back often!
