This sweet oneâ€‘yearâ€‘old girl has already proven she’s a hero. When she was found, she was bravely protecting her tiny pup, Bob, who was only 3 weeks old at the time. Thanks to a caring Good Samaritan, both were brought to safety.

Bob has already found his forever home, and now it’s Chica’s turn!

She’s discovering all the joys of being a happy dog—zoomies galore, clever tricks, and endless eagerness to please. Chica is smart, playful, and full of love, making her the perfect companion for someone special.

Recently she had an overnight foster stay where we learned she would love to be a lapdog, seems to be crate and house trained. She is very social with dogs of all sizes and loves her walks.

Many of our dogs can be seen at Petsmart in Visalia every other Saturday between 10 and 2.
