Meet Sheeba
Sheeba is still looking for her forever home — and we truly aren’t sure why. She is everything you could want in a companion and is more than ready to find her perfect soft place to land.
This super sweet senior girl made it safely to Wisconsin in December after being found as a “stray” in Georgia alongside her buddy, Scooby. Despite wearing matching collars and leashes, they heartbreakingly ended up in a shelter. Scooby has since been adopted, and now it’s Sheeba’s turn to find her happily-ever-after.
Sheeba stayed behind in Georgia to complete heartworm treatment after testing positive at the shelter. She handled treatment like a champ and is now healthy, thriving, and ready for a home of her own.
Sheeba is likely around 8–9 years old, and while she may be a senior, she has so much love left to give. She is wonderful with kids, great with other dogs, quiet and rarely barks, fully potty trained, and crate trained (though she does not need a kennel). She is easygoing and low maintenance.
She walks nicely on a leash, does great at vet visits, and truly never meets a stranger. She is calm, gentle, and happiest simply being near her people. She doesn’t ask for much — just love, comfort, and a cozy place to call home.
After a rough start and a long journey to get here, Sheeba deserves her second chance. She is a low-key, super sweet girl just waiting for someone to choose her.
