My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mia is a super sweet 41 lb bulldog mix. Mia has been sweet and gentle with people and other dogs alike. She currently lives with a 25 lb poodle mix she loves to play with. Mia is young and loves to play, but overall she's pretty laid back and doesn't need a ton of exercise to be happy. She loves playing with toys.

Mia is mostly house trained and does fine either in a crate or free roaming in the house. She takes a second to warm up to new people but once she does is super snuggly and affectionate.

This girl will make one lucky family very happy!

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Thank you for choosing to adopt a rescue dog! Whether you adopt from Rocket Dog or another rescue group, the fact is you will save a life. Adopting a rescued animal is a lifetime commitment! The first step in our adoption process is completing an adoption questionnaire here: https://www.rocketdogrescue.org/adopt/adoption-application/

From there, you will be contacted by a volunteer to talk more about what you're looking for and if the dog you're interested in might be a good fit.

Go meet their pets

Our dogs live both in foster homes and at the Rocket Dog Sanctuary in Oakland. The best way to arrange a meeting for a specific dog is to fill out an adoption questionnaire on our website here: https://www.rocketdogrescue.org/adopt/adoption-application/

We have adoption events every weekend throughout the Bay Area, which you can see here - https://www.rocketdogrescue.org/events/
