Ray is an 8-month-old bundle of joy who truly lives up to his name — he’s a Ray of sunshine! This sweet pup already knows how to sit (especially if treats are involved!) and is working hard on learning other basic commands. He’s also getting the hang of leash walking and improving every day. Ray loves spending time outdoors, running around, and soaking up all the sights and smells. While he can be a little nervous at first, it doesn’t take long for his spunky, playful personality to shine through. Once he trusts you, expect lots of tail wags, zoomies, and requests for belly rubs — his absolute favorite! If you’re looking for a loving, energetic companion who’s eager to learn and full of sunshine, Ray is ready to brighten your life!
Breed is based on physical features. All shelter animals are considered to be a mixture of breeds.

More about this shelter
Springdale Animal Services' mission is to provide shelter and care to the thousands of stray, abandoned, abused, and neglected animals in need every year. We reunite lost pets with their owners, and place many that are homeless in caring, permanent homes. We strive to ensure the welfare and public safety of our community and its animals through education of our citizens and enforcement of our ordinances. We promote spaying/neutering all domestic animals at the earliest appropriate age, as a means of reducing their overpopulation.
