Pookah is now living alone in the quiet home he once shared with his beloved feline friend. His owner has been very ill and will not be returning, leaving Pookah without the companionship and comfort he’s always known.
His best friend, Shadow, has already been placed in a wonderful new home — but sweet Pookah is still waiting. These cats were their owner’s world, and it breaks our hearts to see him alone with only a pet sitter visiting once a day. He deserves warmth, care, and someone to curl up beside again.

We are urgently hoping to find a foster, trial adoption, or forever home for this lovely boy. He will thrive again in a home where he can be cared for, loved, and given a warm bed to sleep on.

About Pookah: He is 6 years old; had his annual physical update in August and is in great health. and is microchipped, no fleas or parasites. Pookah can be happy with other cats, make and female, or along. He can be a little bossy with make cats, but does not FIGHT. He was rescue who showed up in the backyard of the current house and was thrilled to come inside!! Very gentle cat! Great in the litter box and not destructive in the house and playful!
