Toby is an almost 6 year old “beagle/terrier mix”. He was rescued from Mexico during the pandemic when we were living in Southern California. He is a sweet dog who thrives on lots of attention. He loves being able to run around in a big yard or on a bike ride. He is good with small kids and toddlers. He is hit or miss with other dogs and usually prefers female dogs over male. Toby is not a fan of the water (lakes, oceans, pools etc.), storms, or jet noise and takes medication for some of his anxiety. He is skittish at times and takes a little bit to warm up to people, especially men. But once he knows you, he's the biggest love. He is a dog that needs a family who will lean into his quirks and love on him. Toby has been trained over the years and is very well behaved- follows commands such as sit, lay down, stay, come, & bed (to go to his dog bed). He would be a great addition to any family seeking a sweet dog.
