Hi, I'm Gizmo! I was one of 4 kittens that was taken in by a nice lady from the streets of Harrisburg city when I was a baby! I found my way to the rescue and my foster home has been so much fun! I spent my days lounging with my 2 siblings Simon and Houdini, as well as my foster siblings! I LOVE OTHER DOGS AND CATS! I am always down to play and snuggle with my family, furry & human!

I have been at the rescue for a few months, and now I am ready to find my furever home! I am fully vetted, I have been given all my vaccines, got neutered and mom says I have a chip incase I would ever get lost! I am also negative for FIV/FELV.

We offer an online adoption application at www.castwaycritters.org. We do check references, vet references, and housechecks. Once you are approved, you will be required to fill out an adoption agreement. Our animals have all been wormed, altered and vaccinated. Cats have been tested for FIV/FeLV. All of our animals are in foster care so please complete an application at our website (www.castawaycritters.org) before meeting them. Completing an application does not obligate you to adopt; however, it is required. Applications are processed in the order received in an effort to find the best match possible for both the dog and the adopter.

More about this rescue

We are a non-profit rescue group that takes in stray, abandoned, and sick animals, giving them medical and foster care until available for adoption. We offer low cost spay/neuter clinics to the public and a special program called Operation CatNIP for pet cats of low income qualified individuals and feral cats, and assist in TNR for cats.
