Hi, I'm Sparky, a very shy Parson Russell Terrier X who was rescued from an LA shelter. I will need a patient person who is willing to let me get to know them at my own pace. I warm up to people once I get to know and trust them. CARL staff and volunteers are helping me with this and I do recognize a familiar friendly face and I'm warming up to them, but I'm still shy with strangers. I've been able to participate in playgroups at the kennel and I initiate play with the other dogs. It's unknown at this time if I am good with cats or children.
