My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Hi there, I'm Chip! I was found outside in the woods with my sister, Pretzel and a nice lady surrendered me to the Castaway Critters rescue! I am about 3.5 months old and I am a really laid back guy. I do like to play with my toys and my sis, but I also love to snuggle on my foster Mama's lap. She says I'm one of the most laid back kittens she has ever had!

I am other cat friendly, kid friendly but I have never met a dog. I think I would like to, as long as the dog isn't too pushy. I love to groom my coat and eat my wet food!

I will be fully vetted and ready to roll to my furever family on 12/17. I am FIV/FELV negative, microchipped and will be completely up to date on my vaccines on 12/16 - pending a successful neuter surgery. I don't have to be adopted with my sister, but that would be pretty cool if you have enough room in your heart for both of us, as we have been together since the beginning!

Apply for me (or us) at www.castawaycritters.org/adopt.

Additional adoption info

We offer an online adoption application at www.castwaycritters.org. We do check references, vet references, and housechecks. Once you are approved, you will be required to fill out an adoption agreement. Our animals have all been wormed, altered and vaccinated. Cats have been tested for FIV/FeLV. For more information, see our website at www.castawaycritters.org.

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

All of our animals are in foster care so please complete an application at our website (www.castawaycritters.org) before meeting them. Completing an application does not obligate you to adopt; however, it is required. Applications are processed in the order received in an effort to find the best match possible for both the dog and the adopter.

Please also check out our events page on our website as fosters sometimes bring their available animals out to meet people!

More about this rescue

We are a non-profit rescue group that takes in stray, abandoned, and sick animals, giving them medical and foster care until available for adoption. We offer low cost spay/neuter clinics to the public and a special program called Operation CatNIP for pet cats of low income qualified individuals and feral cats, and assist in TNR for cats.
