My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

☁️ Cloudy days feel a little heavier when you’re our longest resident 🐾

This sweet grey & white girl has been patiently waiting since November. She’s just 7 lbs of quiet love, fully vetted, and ready for a fresh start 💛

She would do best in a calm, low-activity home where she can relax, feel safe, and just be someone’s steady companion 🏡✨

She doesn’t need chaos. She doesn’t need constant movement.
She just needs peace… and someone to choose her.

Maybe today is her day ☀️🐱

More about this shelter

A not-for-profit organization, Monroe County Friends of Animals help the County by raising funds to build a new facility for our animals. It is called the Eastbourne Animal Center and has now replaced the old Monroe County Animal Shelter. They provide volunteers, fundraising events, grant writing and more. There is always a need for more volunteers. With a small budget, donations are a welcome necessity. We have developed educational programs to promote spay/neuter and humane care of all animals.
