Luvy #19895: black & white tuxedo, short hair, spayed female, born approx. 5/1/25
Cats: must have feline friend Dogs: unknown / possibly Children: late elementary+
BACKGROUND: Luvy was only a few weeks old when she was found on the doorstep of a Good Samaritan who took her in and bottle-raised her but couldn’t keep her; she later asked if The Rescue House could help her find a loving home.
PERSONALITY: Luvy has been the “total package” from the start and remains true to those roots! She “luvs” to snuggle and sleep with her human. She “luvs” to play hard and long with her human and other cats –- furry toys or flying wands are her favorites! She “luvs” her food and her ear is always tuned to the sound of potential meals or treats. She “luvs” being fearless: if there’s a vertical route to traverse the room, she’ll take it, and Luvy happily explores and occupies high perches. She may even scale her human from time to time if the opportunity presents itself, so be ready! Luvy “luvs” life and enjoys it to the fullest.
COMPATIBILITY: Luvy needs a playful kitty companion who is open to a happy rough-and-tumble approach. While we haven’t seen her around canines, she plays so fearlessly with any size cat friend that it’s possible she could be comfortable with a friendly family dog. Humans should be prepared to provide Luvy with the “luv” she asks for, though since she can occasionally get a bit overstimulated and give love bites during overlong petting sessions, her best companions are cat-knowledgeable people. We recommend children late elementary age and up who understand there’s no ill-will and it’s just time to switch to playtime.
Do you have the room in your heart to “luv” Luvy for a lifetime?
