Toby is a sweet, loyal boy looking for a calm home where he can feel safe and loved. He’s affectionate and loves to be near his people, often following you from room to room just to be part of your day. When he gets excited, he can be a little mouthy—but his mouth is soft, and it’s never aggressive. He can also come running with so much joy that he sometimes forgets to slow down!
Toby does best as the only dog in the home, though he’s fine with cats. He’s had a rough past and can be wary of certain things, but with patience and reassurance he opens up beautifully. He should stay on leash outside and thrives with consistency and experienced owners.
We’ve added a small adoption fee only to ensure Toby goes to a serious, responsible home. It breaks my heart that I can’t give him the training and environment he needs, but he deserves the best life possible with a family who will love and understand him.
