Update 11.22.25
Hoss is a very well mannered two-year-old Boxer. His only flaw is that he does like to counter cruise, but that has diminished some because he has been regularly fed and has put on some weight. He really enjoys walks so we walk almost every day. Then we come back in the yard and throw a few of his toys and he tosses and catches them and we get to see all of his unique, crazy, and fun loving Boxer traits!! Hoss will even retrieve a ball and bring it back, and if you say “drop it” he will!
Hoss absolutely loves people, adults and kids. He rarely jumps on them, but loves to lean into them and get good Boxer rubs. He also seems to love other dogs. We passed them on the walks. He skips a few times sort of like saying I’d love to play with you sometime.
He has slept in his crate up until the last two nights. He was in a large crate, but never seemed really fond of it. But he would be quiet if I reminded him. As of the last two nights, he has graduated to a dog bed in our bedroom. He did GREAT!! Got up once and we said “lay down”. And he did and didn’t get up until we did! Hoss rarely barks. He will bark in his crate, and maybe when a person approaches our house, but that is about it. Also,Hoss loves car rides! Especially if he’ll get a treat or two along the way.
Hoss is all around great Boxer who loves people and loves to have fun.
