Magpie came to us from Oʻahu with three other dogs, all scared, anxious, and unsure of the world around them. 💔 But with time, patience, and lots of love, Magpie is starting to show us who he truly is and it’s been so rewarding to watch!
These days, you’ll often find him curled up in a staff member’s lap, soaking up butt scratches and giving gentle tail wags. 💕 He’s learning that people can be kind, laps are cozy, and life doesn’t have to be scary.
🍖 How to Win Him Over: Treats, gentle energy, and patience.
Magpie is still decompressing, so while he’s available for pre-adoption, we’re giving him a little more time before moving him into a new home. We want his next step to be the right one - where he can continue to build trust and confidence at his own pace. 🌿
