My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dave is Australian Shepherd mixed with I-don’t-know-for sure. His momma dog is a pure Australian Shepherd, and papa dog was a “rolling stone” who may have been some sort of medium sized shepherd dog.

I really cannot tell his breed for sure (maybe some Beauceron in him because of his coloring), but he’s among the most socialized, cutest, sweetest, most robust little monkeys I have fostered in my over 20 years doing rescue!

Dave has been loved, healthy, and handled since he was born – he is already extremely social. As the pictures show, he is wonderful with children. He is also great with all the other dogs and kitties, and even with farm animals.

My guess is that he will grow up to be a medium sized dog.

He is only 4 ½ months old, already house trained and crate trained, fully vaccinated, great with kitties and other dogs, wonderful with children, and he loves all adults- bother men and women equally.

Dave is very smart, affectionate, mellow, loving, quiet, playful, and goofy.

He is a perky, attentive, alert, happy, and clever little doll. There’s not a lot I can say about puppies other than I think he will make the best companion dog you’ve ever met because he is great with kids and very friendly!
Dave is truly delightful -- darling, happy, and silly He is spunky and full of love and puppy kisses.
Of course, his adoption covers his neuter, all his baby shots (3 DA2PPv’s),
his Bordatella inoculation (for kennel cough), and his rabies shot. He is a healthy little doll face, and I have his medical records for his new forever family.

I am a firm believer is having potential adopters take a pup home for a “sleepover” to see how your family, your other pets, and your new best buddy all get along. -We always take our rascals back if it isn’t a good fit.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

We are a small, self-funded group of animal lovers. All of our pets are fostered in private homes, so they are social, outgoing, and healthy little rascals.

I have an application I can email to you, and a contract that says that you will love, cherish and care for your adopted companion animal. If for any reason you can't keep your new buddy, you must return him or her to me.

Of course, the adoption covers all shots, the spay or neuter, and whatever incidentals the rascal needs to be a healthy and happy buddy.

Go meet their pets

Each posting has the contact info for the correct foster, so pls contact the right person. I couldn't have all these rascals at my place, but my fellow-foster mommas are wonderful and they can tell you all about the rascals they are caring for.

I live in Ramona, and if you visit, you can meet my farm animals (I have my own petting zoo!) at the same time. I foster everything from hens to horses, and all of my critters have wonderful personalities and are well socialized with other dogs, cats, farm animals, and children.

More about this rescue

We are a small self-funded group of people who love animals - we consider them gifts to the earth and they deserve love, good health, care, and forever homes.

I rescue and foster dogs and cats, puppies and kittens -- even farm animals. I do this because I love these creatures and do not believe in breeding any animals. As long as these wonderful critters are already here, they deserve the best chance we can give them.

These lovely creatures are God's gifts, and I firmly believe animals are good for us -- imagine the smile a little rascal will put on your face after a rough day at the office or a tough commute home!
