When Kruger was found, his body told the story of a dog who had been on his own for far too long. He was thin and hungry, his coat was patchy, he had been eaten up by fleas, and several of his teeth were broken from scavenging just to survive. Despite everything he endured, Kruger never lost the quiet spark in his eyesthe one that said he still wanted to believe in people.Kruger is a middle-aged Australian Shepherd and Rottweiler mix (estimated at approximately 5 years old) with a gentle heart and a calm, soulful nature. Pets & Pals has been serving the community for over 20 years. We are a no-kill shelter. Our facility is extremely clean and well managed. The dogs are allowed to get out of their cages daily on a rotating basis to play in our outdoor areas complete with swimming pools!
