Zelma The Adorable Beagle - Available for Foster or Adoption in Illinois

Zelma was surrendered to the shelter in Mississippi for reasons even she is confused about. Angel Dog Alliance was able to rescue her, and now she is looking for a home for her where she can spend her years just going about and getting all the treats and pets she wants.

Zelma would love to have someone who can spend her days taking a leisurely walk to enjoy the outdoors and nature. Taking naps with her people on the couch and watching Netflix, or just sitting by a cozy fire when it’s chilly outside.

She is located in Illinois and is very ready to meet any prospective families.

More about this rescue

As a 501(c)(3) dog rescue organization, our mission at Angel Dog Alliance is to save the lives of dogs facing euthanasia in high-kill shelters nationwide by pledging funds that enable rescues to take in, rehabilitate, and rehome animals in need. On occasion, if we do not have a local rescue in place in the city the dogs are in, we bring them to Illinois to avoid their euthanasia. They are placed in boarding for vetting, once done, they are promoted for fostering or adoption.
