My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Charles — The Big, Broody, and Totally Majestic King of Toes!

Charles is a large and in charge gentleman with extra toes and extra opinions! This big polydactyl boy might look tough (and okay, he can be a little cranky), but beneath that grumpy exterior beats the heart of a cat who just wants a comfy throne, good food, and plenty of space to do things his way.

He’s looking for a patient home where he can start out indoors for about six months to settle in and feel safe — after that, he may decide he’d like to enjoy some indoor-outdoor freedom (or he might just claim the couch and call it a day).

Charles would do best with teens who can respect his boundaries and understand that this king prefers a hands-off approach to love. He might be okay with another cat after a very slow and polite introduction, but he’s not sure how he feels about dogs just yet.

To keep him happy, he’ll need:
Tons of toys (especially catnip ones!)
Cat trees and scratching posts fit for royalty
Window perches for surveying his kingdom
Treats, wet food, and loads of catnip

If you love a cat with personality, presence, and paws for days, Charles is ready to grace your home with his royal attitude — and maybe, just maybe, a few affectionate moments when you’ve earned his trust.
