My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Slater!

This handsome young hunk was rescued from a backyard where he spent every day living outside. That’s no life for a dog — and Slater is proof that love and kindness can completely change a pup’s world.

Slater is incredibly sweet, affectionate, and loves giving kisses and hugs. He can’t wait to greet the volunteers every morning with his tail wagging! He’s a dream in his kennel, shows positive interest in other dogs, and weighs about 55 lbs.
All he needed was a little love — and he’s more than happy to give it right back.

Slater is available for adoption, and we’d love for someone special to bring him home.

Message us or email euclidpetpals2@yahoo.com if you’re interested in meeting him!

More about this shelter

Euclid Pet Pals is the volunteer organization whose members care for the animals at the Euclid Animal Shelter, in Euclid, Ohio. We raise funds by offering personal and business memberships and cage sponsorships. Other fundraisers include a Bark-B-Q in May, a Clam Jam in October, and car washes in July. The money we raise is used to pay for veterinary care and medications, necessary supplies, and spay/neuters. We are dedicated to providing a healthy, loving environment for animals waiting to be adopted.
