Say hello to OAKLEY — a sunshine-loving, gentle boy who’s ready for a quiet home and a fresh start.
OAKLEY was found as a stray dragging himself after being shot. He now has limited use of his back legs, but he still loves to move around and explore. He especially looks forward to his daily walks, and he’s happiest when he gets to walk alongside his best friend, GRACIE.
OAKLEY can be timid in new situations, so he needs a patient adopter who will let him build confidence at his own speed. Once he feels secure, he becomes affectionate and sweet—with a subtle goofy streak that makes you smile.
Because of his injury, OAKLEY is incontinent and requires manual expression a few times daily to stay comfortable and clean. Caregivers find it becomes quick and simple once you learn—just a few minutes at a time.
OAKLEY spends his days with friendly dogs, soaking up the sun and enjoying a steady routine. A peaceful home with a yard, predictable days, and possibly a dog friend would be a wonderful fit.
👉 If you’re looking for a gentle companion and a truly meaningful bond, OAKLEY would love to meet you.
