Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This friendly pup greets the world with enthusiasm. She loves to be near her people and soaks up attention.
Opal appears to be somewhat hand-sensitive and may flinch or duck away if touched unexpectedly. She responds beautifully to calm, patient handling and builds trust quickly when given space and choice. With thoughtful, positive interactions, she relaxes and shows just how sweet and connected she can be.
Shelter life has been a bit overwhelming for her, and she’s not quite at her best in the kennel environment. We’ve heard that she settles more comfortably in a home setting, where her personality can really shine and she can relax into a routine.
Like many young dogs, Opal will benefit from consistency, routine, and continued guidance as she settles into a new home. After a few unexpected changes outside of her control, she’s more than ready for stability and a family to call her own.
